So what does it mean?

Generally, most people would advise saving logos at 72 pixels per inch because that’s the typical quality for online images. A simple trick to generally display a crisp logo on your web page is to export a double sized logo (e.g. 144 pixels by 50 pixels), and set the intended size (e.g. 72 pixels by 25 pixels) via the html image width and height attributes.
